The IUCN SSC Human-Wildlife Conflict and Coexistence Specialist Group is convening the 2nd International Conference on Human-Wildlife Conflict and Coexistence in Bangkok, Thailand, from 2 to 4 March 2027. This global forum will once again bring together a wide range of participants from governments, NGOs, intergovernmental organisations, Indigenous and local communities, the private and development sectors, and academic institutions from around the world. The conference will provide a platform for interdisciplinary and cross-sector dialogue to foster joint learning, collaboration, and science-policy bridging for human-wildlife coexistence, a globally urgent priority under the UN Convention on Biological Diversity's Global Biodiversity Framework. |
