Suggestion

This is a service offered by the Specialised Information Service Biodiversity (Fachinformationsdienst FID Biodiversität) . Do you need a book on biodiversity you cannot find in your local library nor order via interlibrary loan? Here you have the opportunity to suggest a book for purchase. The BIOfid team will evaluate your suggestion and acquire the book if possible. We will, of course, inform you about the result. You do not incur any costs for the acquisition or licensing. The FID Biodiversity will cover the expenses for the purchase of the book.

Preferred form*

If you choose the option "Online" we will try to get a supraregional license for the e-book. If not possible we will try to buy the print version. If a print version is acquired, you can order it then via interlibrary loan or Subito. Apart from individual book titles, you are also welcome to suggest journals, databases or other resources that are difficult to obtain (... in this case you can just enter "various" in the author/editor field). However, in this case, a purchase or licensing generally requires a longer processing period.
