Semantic Search (Beta)

Dear users,

We have chosen a new technical approach for the portal with the UCE, which replaces the previous version of semantic search. The UCE – Unified Corpus Explorer – is currently under development and is available here in a prototype version with a small corpus. Please note the following points:

• To benefit from the performance of UCE, it is necessary to use search commands with a special syntax (see ‘Search Documentation’ behind the question mark symbol in the search bar). We hope to be able to offer a search function that is more intuitive to use in future versions.
• The searchable pool of publications (the ‘corpus’) is currently still small (around 2,500 publications). It is to be gradually expanded over the coming months and is expected to reach a volume of 1.4 million pages by the beginning of 2026 and 2.2 million pages by the end of 2026.
